The English Language Summer School runs from Sunday 6th July – Saturday 9th August 2025
Sunday arrivals and departures only (apart from the final week). Monday to Saturday, there are lessons in the morning (15 hours per week):
Parents may add pocket money to the fees, or send it in cash with their children. The school will look after it and issue pocket money daily.
The school is happy to arrange transport to and from airports. This transport will be charged for at cost and taken from the £200 deposit. Both because of organisational reasons and the student’s wellbeing we advise to use Gatwick Airport or Heathrow Airport. Other airports are far and therefore very costly and trips are time-consuming.
A suggested clothing list will be provided if requested.
There are three meals a day: breakfast is served until 09.15, lunch at 12.30/13.00 and dinner between 18.30-19.30.
The school has its own catering staff and students are given fresh food which is well cooked and attractively presented. Fresh fruit and vegetables, excellent meat and poultry, cheese, milk and salads are all provided.
Menus are varied and care is taken to offer a variety of English cuisine, as well as European dishes, and weather permitting of course, our BBQs and picnics. Every day there is a vegetarian option and there’s also a permanent salad bar available during both lunch and dinner. The school has a modern kitchen and dining room in order for us to provide the students with ideal eating conditions and the very best food possible. In fact, we have a wood fired pizza oven and even an ice cream machine for the students to use!
To maintain the family atmosphere of the course, we limit the number of places to around 100. This gives us a large enough group to be able to offer valuable English language classes and a stimulating and varied holiday, and yet is small enough for everyone to retain the feeling that he or she belongs to one friendly group.
Our houses are comfortably furnished throughout. Each house has its own resident staff in charge – teachers who live there and are responsible for looking after the children. While the welfare of every student is considered important, the care needed by an 11 year old is different from that required by a 17 year old. With this in mind, additional special staff are available to help younger children to adapt to being away from home in a foreign country. Students will be in shared rooms with between 2 and 4 in each room.
